Day 1: The Journey Begins | Islamabad to Gilgit or Jaglot

  • Our journey starts in the middle of the night. We will pick up our travelers in Islamabad at 1:00 AM. If you are coming from Lahore, Karachi, or other cities, please arrive by midnight to board the coaster. We will start with a short introduction so everyone can get to know their new travel family.
  • We will drive through Balakot and Kaghan, reaching Naran around 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM for breakfast in the main bazaar. After a short rest, we head toward Babusar Top. On the way, we can stop for rafting at the Kunhar River, see the beautiful Lulusar Lake, and have tea at the top of the mountain.
  • We will arrive in Jaglot or Gilgit in the evening for dinner and a night stay. We will stop for all prayers during the day and encourage everyone to pray together in Jamaat.

Day 2: The Beautiful Lakes of Naltar Valley

  • We start our day early with Fajr prayer. We encourage everyone to make this a habit. After prayer, we will have a short session to share reminders from the Quran. After breakfast, we head to Nomal village and switch to 4x4 jeeps.
  • The jeep track to Naltar Valley is very scenic. We will visit the colorful Satrangi Lake and the Blue Lake. We will also take an easy 25-minute hike to Feroza Lake. The water color and the mountains around it will amaze you.
  • In the evening, we drive to Hunza Valley for dinner and our night stay. We will have another short reminder session at the hotel and keep up with all our prayers.

Day 3: Hussaini Bridge and the China Border

  • After Fajr and our morning Quran session, we hit the road for a great trip on the Karakoram Highway. Our first stop is the Hussaini Suspension Bridge. It is the oldest and largest in the area. You can take photos and try walking across it if you feel brave!
  • Next, we drive to Khunjerab Pass (the China Border). On the way, we will stop to see the Passu Cones. These tall peaks remind us of the majesty of Allah’s creation. At the border, you will see the highest ATM in the world. It stays very cold there, so please wear warm clothes.
  • We will spend the night at Attabad Lake. It is a peaceful place to stay right by the water. We will make sure not to miss any prayers during the day.

Day 4: Hiking to Baskochi Top and Local Forts

  • We start the day with Fajr and a short teaching from the Prophet (SAW). Today, we explore a hidden spot called Baskochi Top. It is a one-hour hike from where we stay. Once you reach the top, the view of the lake is so beautiful that you will forget all the tiredness of the walk.
  • After the hike, we have breakfast and go to Karimabad. We will visit the old Altit and Baltit Forts to learn about the history. You can also walk through the Karimabad bazar and try some local food.
  • We will stay the night in Karimabad or Aliabad. As always, we will observe all our prayers throughout the day.

Day 5: Rakaposhi View and Return to Naran

  • After our morning prayer and Quran session, we leave Hunza to head back to Naran. We will stop at the Rakaposhi View Point. This is the closest you can get to the mighty Rakaposhi mountain.
  • We will cross Babusar Top again and stop at Lulusar Lake. If you missed rafting on the first day, you can try it today at the Kunhar River. We will reach our hotel in Naran for dinner and a night stay. We encourage everyone to keep praying their Salah on time.
