Day 1: The Road to Ratti Gali | Islamabad to Basecamp

  • Our journey begins with our usual routine. We pick up participants from Islamabad at 1:00 AM. Friends from other cities should board at midnight. We’ll start with a short introduction to our travel family as we drive via Murree and Muzaffarabad.
  • We will make stopovers at the Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Project and the beautiful Dhani Waterfall. We’ll enjoy breakfast in Keran, right across the river from Indian Occupied Kashmir. It is a powerful place to see the LOC and reflect. From Dowarian, we transfer to jeeps for a 2.5-hour bumpy ride to the Ratti Gali Basecamp.
  • Important Note: This is a campsite, not a resort. Facilities are basic, so please bring a raincoat, warm clothes, and comfortable joggers. After a short rest, we will hike for about 50 minutes (or take a horse) to the stunning Ratti Gali Lake. We return to the camp for dinner and a night under the stars. As always, we will stop for all prayers and encourage everyone to pray together.

Day 2: The Heights of Arang Kel

  • We start our day with Fajr prayer, followed by a short session for Quranic reminders and teachings. After breakfast at the campsite, we take the jeeps back down to Dowarian and board our coaster for Kel.
  • The real adventure begins as we take the chairlift to cross the valley! Once on the other side, a 20–25 minute walk up proper stairs will take us to the top of Arang Kel. This village is like a piece of paradise hidden in the mountains.
  • On arrival, you'll be served a warm cup of tea. Since we’ve had a long journey, we will spend the rest of the day resting and soaking in the incredible views from our hotel. We will observe all our prayers on time and enjoy dinner together.

Day 3: The Ancient Sharda

  • After Fajr and our morning Quran session, we’ll take a peaceful morning walk around the village. After breakfast with a stunning view, you will have free time until the afternoon. This is your chance to sit quietly, spend time with your Creator, and be amazed by His creation.
  • At noon, we hike back down to Kel and drive toward Sharda. This historic town is one of the oldest and most beautiful spots in Neelum Valley. We will check into our hotel for dinner and our overnight stay. We will continue to make stopovers for Salah and encourage everyone to stay regular with their prayers.

Day 4: The Journey Home | Sharda to Islamabad

  • We start our final day with Fajr and a final reflection session. After breakfast, we begin our journey back toward Islamabad.
  • On our way, we will stop at the Kundal Shahi Waterfall, visit Keran (the LOC) once more, and stop in Muzaffarabad for lunch. As we drive via the Kohala road, we’ll make one last stop at the Kashmir Waterfall. We expect to reach Islamabad in the evening.
  • We hope this trip serves as a "U-turn" for you—moving your heart closer to Allah and away from the distractions of this world. We end our journey with beautiful memories and lessons that we hope will stay with you forever.
