Day 1: The Journey to the Clouds | Islamabad to Jahaz Banda

Our adventure starts in the middle of the night. We pick up participants from Islamabad at 1:00 AM. Friends from Lahore, Karachi, or other cities should board at midnight. We will start with a short introduction to our travel family before heading out via the Swat Motorway.
We will stop at the Shelton Hotel in Lower Dir for a riverside breakfast. The drive to Thal can take 10 to 11 hours depending on the road, so please be patient. From Thal, we transfer to 4x4 jeeps to reach Takki Top. This is where the road ends and our hike begins!
The hike to Jahaz Banda usually takes about 2 to 3 hours. Horses and porters are available if you prefer not to carry your bags or walk the whole way. It is a scenic walk through forests and meadows that will bring peace to your soul.
Important Note: The hotels at Jahaz Banda are very basic and remote. They do not have luxury facilities. Please talk to our team before booking so you know what to expect. We will observe all prayers together and encourage everyone to pray on time.

Day 2: The Giant Katora Lake

We begin with Fajr prayer, followed by our routine Quranic reminders and teachings. After breakfast, get ready for the most beautiful day of the trip! We are heading to the famous Katora Lake.
You can walk or take a horse to Mini Katora Lake (about 45 minutes). From there, everyone will hike up to the main Katora Lake. It takes about 1 to 2.5 hours depending on your pace. The sight of the huge, bowl-shaped lake surrounded by snow and mountains will make you forget all your tiredness. You will truly thank Allah for such a view!
We will hike back to Jahaz Banda in the evening for dinner and our night stay. We will continue to offer all our prayers in the mountains.

Day 3: Kund Banda Waterfall and Kumrat Forest

After Fajr and our morning session, we take a short 30-minute walk down to Kund Banda. This place is a hidden treasure with a mighty waterfall and lush meadows that you must see. After spending some peaceful time there, we head back to Jahaz Banda for breakfast.
Next, we descend back to Takki Top (by foot or horse) and take the jeeps into the famous Kumrat Forest. After checking into our hotel among the tall trees, we will visit the Kumrat Waterfall. It is a stunning spot where you can feel the mist of the cold water.
We will spend the night in the forest, making sure to keep our prayers a priority as we enjoy the sound of the river.

Day 4: Reflections and the Journey Home

On our final morning, we gather for Fajr and a Quranic reminder. Before we leave, we will sit together one last time. We will reflect on what we learned from this trip, how Allah’s creation impacted us, and how we can live our lives closer to Him.
We will take the jeeps back to Thal and then board our coaster for Islamabad. We will make stops in Lower Dir and along the Swat Motorway to freshen up and offer our prayers.
We expect to reach Islamabad in the evening, ending our journey with a renewed sense of purpose and a heart full of gratitude for Allah's blessings.

Payments: Secure your spot with a deposit or full payment. We accept all popular payment methods.

Confirmation: Once paid, your booking is confirmed and subject to our cancellation policy.

Cancellations & Refunds

Non-Refundable: No refunds, but payments can be redeemed for a future trip within one year.
Cancellation Timeframe:
- 7+ Days Before Departure: Full redemption.
- 3–7 Days Before Departure: 30% cancellation fee applies; 70% redeemable.
- Within 3 Days: No refunds or redemption.
